Double Peak, San Marcos

7:51 PM
A much needed study break! Hiking to Double Peak at San Marcos, California. It was an easy hike (compared to Potato Chip) around 5.6 mile loop. Dogs and horses are also able to use the trail so no wonder there were some poopoo along the way (omg people please be mindful next time :<) It's actually half residential area so we actually walked nearby houses at some parts. You can also get to the Double Peak by car but we didn't do because why not right haha.

Based on Adrienne's direction, we started hiking from Discovery Lake, going up to the Double Peak. Along the way we figured there was another route, the Ridgeline Trailhead, which was closer to the peak. It was overall a nice hiking with a beautiful California winter weather haha <3. Got to the peak in time for sunset and it was beautiful.
