On the last Saturday of Spring Break (which was also Holy Week so got Easter Vigil mass later that day), Icha, Adrienne, and I decided to have a little adventure in North Park, San Diego! Initially we just wanted to continue what we did last year; having a dinner or get-together before mass, but we decided to hang out the entire day. We went to many photo-spots and tried many food places we had been wanting to try! Since I did go to some places, I decided to break down the story as to shorten each post lol. Sooo, this one is dedicated to the coffee shops that we visited. First coffee stop was Holsem Coffee. It was a cute coffee shop and it was crowded with people studying (or doing some kinds of work since almost everyone was on their laptops). Tried their creation, The Woods (real maple syrup, nutmeg, sea salt, and house-made hazelnut milk) and . . . not my fav :< but Adrienne and Icha liked it haha. It was toooo bitter for me lol I love sweet coffee (more to the sugary side than to the coffee component - love the smell tho).
Second coffee stop of the day was Coffee and Tea Collective. It was another beautiful white minimalist coffee shop, pictured above was a cute lamp that they have. They have less menu than Holsem and Icha tried their cappuccino, and of course it was not sweet hahaha. Love both places' vibes. This place is smaller than Holsem and less people went there for studying. Initially we also wanted to check out Dark Horse Coffee Roasters but the place was so small and it was full so we saved it for next time.
