Second post on the day before Easter's adventure is on the whimsical walls in North Park (+ 1 in Mission Hills). First stop was Pigment, a very cute shop that sell everything that can fit into Pinterest. It is a "one-stop shop for art, flora, furniture and thoughtful gifts". Very very very cute and lovely things they have :''') I want to buy the entire store huhu. Hopefully when I am picking out furniture and decoration for my future home, I can go here again. The store was divided into color blocks and it was magical. The outside wall is decorated with succulents and they also have a make-your-own succulent station inside. They also provide a photo-booth in front of their decorated  "All is Bright" wall. V lovelyyyy.

There are a lot of artsy walls in North Park but the ones that I visited was the dinosaurs mural outside Wang's restaurant, the Greetings from San Diego mural outside Belching Beaver Brewery, and the elephant outside of Crest Cafe. The Wang's restaurant is  permanently closed, though. The Greetings wall is one of the murals from the Greetings tour. It was painted by mural artist Victor Ving and photographer Lisa Beggs, who are on a cross-country road trip and painting murals in select cities throughout the US that are inspired by vintage large-letter postcards.

The places (or arts) painted in the murals in San Diego are:
S – Hotel del Coronado
A – Coronado Bridge
N – Matt Hensley ollie on overpass

D – Sunset Cliffs
I – Dave Persue's “Bunny Kitty”
E – American and Mexican flags
G – Balboa Park
O – Giant Dipper, Belmont Park

Lastly, and this one was NOT in North Park but in Mission Hills, was the Harper's topiary garden. I don't know how to explain this one so here's what I read online: "A local artist has put her imagination and skill to work by transforming plants in her front yard into an outdoor museum of sculptures." hehe. They are the Harper family; hence, the name. Found this in Hidden San Diego so might as well visit it when we went to the are lol. It was kinda cute too.

I love cute walls as they look good as background for pictures tee-hee <3
